Pictures

This page is meant to be a place for photographs related to the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 in particular and the Victorian era in general as long as it fits within the scheme of this website. Of the photos available online, however, many are in a somewhat less than perfect quality and I will enhance these as good as is reasonably possible.

  1. This is such an incredible site! thank you! the pictures are wonderful. I just discovered an ancestor of mine was a naval lieutenant on "Tenedos" The pic you have of the whole crew, interests me greatly. He's in there somewhere! How exciting to see the crew! Are any of the pics available for purchase?
